Of all the books, articles, and periodicals you could be reading, videos you could be watching, web sites you could be visiting, courses and speeches you could be attending, what's the best use of your time right now?
Choosing wisely from the plethora of resources one might use to develop people and build an organization is a major league challenge. In this area we will share some of the things we have found useful in the past and things we are discovering.
Books
We like books that are honest, that make you think, that contain even one or two clearly usable ideas, and that are written in plain talk. We do not require that a book be perfectly written or that the authors agree with our perspective in order to make our list.
Links
The web stands alone as a phenomenal new source of information. It's touching and changing virtually every area of our lives at work and away from work. It's hard to imagine a company not using the web to transact at least some parts of their business and grow their people in the future. We are indeed in a new, knowledge-based economy, and the internet will play an increasingly important role in all our lives. Here are a few sites that we think may help you create your future.
